About the Job:

Climbing arborists need to climb to a tree’s upper branches using ropes, harnesses, and ladders, and they use hand and power tools to remove branches. This aspect of the job requires thorough knowledge of how to trim trees to encourage healthy growth, along with the physical strength and dexterity to climb and move around a tree’s branches.

Job Responsibilities:

* Function as a member of a tree crew while progressively learning new skills and ability to take constructive criticism is essential.
* Operate chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment as needed on job sites.
* Utilize ropes for work positioning at heights up to 60ft, while pruning or removing trees.
* Learn tree identification and pruning guidelines.

About the Job:

The ‘operator’ on a tree crew lead the crew from a bucket truck, making cuts, and planning and overseeing work production. Extensive rigging and chainsaw experience is required.

About the Job:

Groundsman will be working on the ground assisting our Climbing Arborists throughout tree removal or pruning processes.

Job Responsibilities:

* Assist climbers by working on the ground, handing tools and heavy materials as needed.
* Keeping the work area clear of debris, cleaning up limbs and branches as they are brought down in tree cutting work.
* Lining up branches and piling appropriately for loading into the Chipper.
* Keeping tools in the staging area and safe zone.
*Being attentive to the Climber’s cues throughout the job, always keeping their eyes on the Climber.

About the Job:

Our Sales Arborists sell Arboricultural services to new and existing clients and are responsible for creating and cultivating relationships with both residential and commercial customers. Knowledge and experience in tree identification, tree care, insect and disease treatment, hazard tree care, and current industry practices is a must. Sales Arborists also assist the Operations Manager and crews in the direction of each job.

Job Responsibilities:

* Prepare tree appraisals, tree risk assessments, tree preservation plans, and tree planting plans for residential and commercial properties.
* Provide diagnostics and recommendations for tree issues.
* Input all estimate information in our database for work planning and inventory purposes.
* Assess storm restoration work, during nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

About the Job:

This position requires flexible hours/days depending on the weather conditions as directed by the owner. Wages will be based on past experience, availability, and performance. As part time and seasonal, this position does not have guaranteed

Job Responsibilities:

* Operating equipment to clear snow from customer properties
* Learning a specific route of customer sites
* Completing work safely to customer specifications and quality standards
* Utilizing effective communication for on the job issues that may arise
* Ability to be available and work all hours as dictated by snow event, this IS NOT a 9-5 position! This is a Part time seasonal position that requires flexibility.

About the Job:

Ability to perform routine manual and semi-skilled work in the landscape industry. Responsible for the equipment used in their day to day operations. This position may operate a variety of hand and power tools.

About the Job:

Performs regular lawn maintenance by mowing lawns with riding or push mowers. Trimming and edging around trees, shrubs, ground cover, flower beds, sidewalks and buildings by hand or utilizing proper tools and equipment.

* Mowing lawns either by push or riding lawnmower.
* String trimming & edging.
* Clean-up with backpack blowers blowing off sidewalks, cars and driveways.
* Removal of sticks & debris from yards.

About the Job:

Prior mechanic experience working on major brand 2 cycle and 4 cycle Lawn Care engines and equipment is preferred. Experience working in the landscape industry is preferred. Other relevant experience – including maintenance mechanic or automotive technician experience is accepted. Expected to work with all crew members, leaders, management, and customers in a courteous and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities:

* Responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and making required repairs on all Lawn Care related equipment. Including but not limited to: Mowers, String trimmer, Backpack blowers, Edgers, Gas powered pruning shears, Tillers, and Chainsaws.
* Schedule and complete all factory recommended routine equipment maintenance
* Maintain shop inventory of fluids, parts, supplies, and necessary tools.
* Basic working knowledge of and ability to make light repairs on trailers, tractors, and automotive fleet
